Proud Supporters of the National Reconciliation Movement

Reconciliation Action Plan

Demos Property Services acknowledges the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of the nation and the traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn and work.

Australia has a long history of reconciliation and countless people – Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous – have dedicated their life’s work to the reconciliation movement.  As a result, many significant steps have been taken.

At Demos Property Services we have completed our Reconciliation Action Plan in an effort to support the national reconciliation movement. Our RAP is a strategic document that supports our organisation’s business plan. It includes practical actions that will drive our organisation’s contribution to reconciliation both internally and in the communities in which we operate.

Supply Nation Member

Forty five years of evidence (US research) demonstrates that a diverse supply chain brings significant business benefits – sustainability, innovation and flexibility.

Australian data shows that spending with Indigenous businesses creates greater social benefits than the dollar amount on the invoice.

We are proud to be a Supply Nation member and ensure that we can develop a sustainable and effective supplier diversity program.

Wirrpanda Cleaning Supplies

Wirrpanda Supplies was established as a joint-venture between David and Chemform, a 40-year-old family owned Australian company that manufactures and supplies cleaning products around the country.

All our cleaning products are 100% safe to use, they contain non-hazardous chemicals and best of all we are also investing in sustainable future for indegenous communities in Australia.

3% of Wirrpanda Supplies sales profits from the purchase of their products are donated to the Wirrpanda Foundation.

Cultural Choice Demos Property Services.

Cultural Choice

Cultural Choice supports the work of the Cultural Choice Association through direct contributions from sales of its own range of branded products and they are the only true Aboriginal Australian owned and operated, independent, stationery and work supplies company currently in operation with a National footprint.

Their policy is to maintain 50 per cent Aboriginal employment across all of their business how and in the future – they are also a proud Supply Nation Certified Business.

The Foundation acknowledges the strength and wisdom that lies within remote Indigenous communities. Their work demands strong and trusting partnerships with community, Elders and school leaders. They partner authentically with communities, as they journey through the complexities of the work required to create social change.
