Demos Property Services Pty Ltd (ABN 82 101 271 523), referred to in this policy as "Demos Property Services", "we", "us" or "our", is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who interact with our business. We respect your right to privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
This policy explains how we collect, hold, use, disclose and protect personal information, how you can access or correct your personal information, and how you can make a privacy complaint. It applies to information collected through our website, by telephone, by email, in person, and through our service delivery.
This policy does not apply to information collected by third parties whose websites or services we link to. If you visit a third party website or use a third party service referenced by us, you should review that organisation's privacy policy before providing any information.

We collect, hold, use and disclose personal information for purposes that are reasonably necessary for our functions and activities, including:

6. How we hold and protect personal information
We hold personal information in both electronic and, where necessary, physical form. Electronic records are stored on secure servers operated by us or by third party hosting providers under contract.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps include access controls, password protection, network security measures, staff training and confidentiality obligations on personnel and contractors.

7. Notifiable Data Breaches
We comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If we become aware of a data breach involving personal information that is likely to result in serious harm to any affected individual, and we have been unable to prevent the likely risk of serious harm with remedial action, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as soon as practicable.
